Family: All known familly killed off either by viking raids, refusing to pay taxes to lords of the area, disease or natural causes.
Biography: Albeth was born into a family of people who did not fit into any part of society. Living in the muggle part of York, a thriving danish town, his family were magical in nature but were all known for "not being all there". In reality this was mostly a ruse, taught to the children of the family in order to ignore any criticisms of their erratic genius from their peers.
Apprenticed to his father, a spellcrafter and inventor himself, Albeth showed great talent but was also known as a fighter in the town. When two local lords offended each other and sent their militias against each other, using both magical and muggle warriors, in a section of woods not far from York, Albeth joined up with one side and went to this local war.
When the two small armies clashed there was a blinding flash of light from the woods and then everything went quiet. Not a sound was heard from the woods. Everything in the woods was dead apart from Albeth, who came out of the woods an hour later, covered in blood and with his family's branch of 'fake' insanity firmly in place.
Since then Albeth has never touched a weapon and refuses to fight any fight, no matter how small scale or non-lethal it might be. He has focused all of his attention and talents on spellcrafting and inventing.
Personality: A witty and funny character, Albeth tends not to take anything too seriously until it gets to the point when a situation is about to turn from serious to "shizzle hitting the fan" level of serious. Once he deems a situation serious enough he becomes as serious as the situation, losing his happy go lucky attitude from the mild insanity and becoming completely sane for a time.
